Mom's Harley Raffle

So in addition to having decided to re-marry (date TBA) mom is enjoying being a local celebrity lately. She was just on the news the other day - a story about a local Calgary woman trying to help the new Children's Hospital by offering to raffle off two of her art pieces, but denied because of red tape. (The hospital only wants to deal with much larger sums of money, otherwise the administrative costs outweigh the benefits). Mom was quite upset about this.

Immediately after the story appeared on the news, the Foothills Country Hospice contacted her. She is being interviewed for the Okotoks paper today - she will be raffling off two Harleys to raise $5000 for the hospice as part of their "Wranglers and Rhinestones Gala". And there you have it - everyone can make a difference!
